Chaplain Ned Sugzdinis is a life member of VFW Post 3270. He served in Vietnam as the first mate of the Y.O.G. 56, the Y.F.U. 77, and other smaller craft on the rivers and coast of Vietnam. An Army Veteran with a total of 21 years active and reserve duty finishing as a SFC/E7 with HHC 358^thCivil Affairs Brigade.

He retired from Boeing Defense and Space after 32 years as an engineer.

He transferred into Post 3270 in 2022 and became ordained shortly after.

He lives in Jacksonville with his wife Gina, who is a member of the VFW Auxiliary and is currently serving as the District 6 Secretary
